In the combined treatment of chronic hepatitis caused by viruses of type B, C, or D, including those accompanied by cirrhosis of the liver, the recommended dose of Viferon 3000000  is 1 suppository twice a day with an interval of 12 hours for 10 days, then continue the administration of suppositories three times a week from six months to a year (individually, depending on the severity of the disease).

In the treatment of genitourinary infections, Viferon suppositories are prescribed at a dose of 50,000 IU, one suppository 2 times a day for a period of 5-10 days (if symptoms persist, treatment can be continued).

In the treatment of primary or recurrent infection caused by the herpes simplex virus, Viferon is prescribed at a dose of 1,000,000  IU, one suppository twice a day for 10 days. For greater effectiveness, treatment should be started at the first signs of exacerbation (redness, itching).

Babies up to a year
