Including the impact of therapy for HPV, where there were noticeable improvements in the progress of the fight against this diagnosis. Further, these cases will be described in the article.

Clinical Trials

The trials involved sixty women diagnosed with high-risk HPV. Qualitative and quantitative determination of HPV-VR (16, 18, 31 , 33, 35 , 39 , 45, 51, 52 , 56 , 58 , 59 ) in samples was carried out using real-time PCR.

Two groups were created: the participants in group number one used the interferon alfa therapeutic agent in the form of rectal suppositories, while group number two did not receive this agent. One month later, the final examination was carried out.

The average age in the group under the first number was 31.7 with a difference of one and a half years, either more or less, in the group under the second number, the average age was 35 years, again with a difference of about one and a half years (plus, minus).

In the first group, monoinfection occurred in 72.4% of cases, combined infection in 27.6% of cases, in the second group – in 64.3% and 35.7% of cases, respectively.

The average viral load in group number one showed the following results – 3.5 ± 0.2 Lg (HPV/105 cells), group number two showed 3.4 ± 0.3 Lg (p = 0.473).

Clinically significant viral load had to be more in the first group and gave results in the form of -41.4%, insignificant viral load – in the second group there were indicators – 42.9%.

The average viral load in the last study in the first group was 1.9 ± 0.3 Lg (HPV/105 cells), and in the second it was 2.8 ± 0.4 Lg (p = 0.04).

The difference in viral load during the first survey period and one month later was statistically significant in both groups (p < 0.05).

In group number one, HPV elimination occurred in 34.5% of cases, group number two – in 28.6%. Viral load in the group where participants were given the drug (group number one) decreased by 45.5%, in the group where people did not receive it (group number two) – the decrease was only 18.3% (p = 0, 01).

Research results

According to the results of the above studies, the positive effect of this drug in the fight against HPV has been proven. This is seen in the reduction in viral load in women diagnosed with HPV. who are in their reproductive years.
