Causes of HPV
A disease that causes the growth of neoplasms from human skin epithelial cells is called papillomatosis and occurs due to the penetration of the papillomavirus into the body.
At the initial stage, microorganisms infect the epithelium and mucous membranes. The result of the invasion of the virus into the cell is the uncontrolled proliferation (division) of the cell. In the disturbed epithelial layer, thickening of the skin and the formation of outgrowths are observed.
Depending on the type of growth, neoplasms are classified:
- endophytic – located in the epithelial layer;
- exophytic – protruding above the surface of the skin or mucous membrane.
Depending on the size of the papilloma, there are:
- small (1–5 mm);
- medium (5–10 mm);
- large (10–30 mm).
According to the degree of probability of degeneration into a malignant tumor, papillomas can be:
- non-oncogenic (simple, flat, plantar);
- low-oncogenic (warts);
- with an average and high risk of oncogenicity (elongated papillomas, erymatous spots, plaques on the skin and mucous membranes).
In appearance and clinical picture, the manifestations of papilloma are divided into:
- simple, vulgar – round or oval, with a rough, rough surface, rise above the level of the epidermis. They are single or multiple in nature, located on the back of the hands, chin or lip contour;
- flat – mostly round, slightly protrude above the skin. The surface of the papilloma is smooth and has a beige, light brown or light yellow tint. The place of localization is the zone of the back, armpits, chest, in rare cases – around the anus or on the mucous membranes of the external genital organs. Cause itching, redness and pain when touched;
- plantar – rough rounded growths with a clear border, similar to ordinary corn. They form on the soles of the feet, causing discomfort and pain while walking;
- acrochords (filamentous) – can have a different shape, but the distinguishing feature is the presence of a thin stem connecting the neoplasm to the skin. They are multiple in nature, located in groups on the neck, upper or lower eyelid , in the armpits, groin;
- warts (pointed) – have a wide base and multiple, pointed endings. Places of localization – the genital area, the entrance to the urethra, anus, mucous membranes of the rectum and vagina, can also spread to the skin of the inner thighs and buttocks.
Why did small formations appear on the skin
The causative agent of the disease persists in the external environment for 4-5 hours, the mechanism of infection is direct contact with the carrier of the infection:
- from the mother , who is the carrier of the infection, to the child during childbirth;
- as a result of unprotected intercourse ;
- visiting public places (pools, baths, handrails, railings in vehicles, cinemas, hospitals, and so on); using other people’s items and hygiene products (towels, razors, soap).
It is possible that infection during medical examinations using a non-sterile instrument.
For a long time, the disease may not have clinical manifestations. The provoking factors for the activation of the virus are nervous strain, fear, stress, trauma to the skin, excessive sweating, smoking, disruption of the gastrointestinal tract, and decreased immunity.
Folk ways to get rid of HPV

You can quickly withdraw with potato juice
Treatment is preferably carried out in July – November, since in winter a toxic substance, solanine, accumulates in the vegetable, which can cause poisoning. Potatoes use red varieties:
- grate the tubers and squeeze the juice through cheesecloth folded in several layers or use a juicer, the main condition is to perform manipulations with the vegetable before direct use;
- every morning, half an hour before meals, drink 100 ml of the resulting liquid for 2-3 months.
Garlic ointment
- peel 1-3 garlic cloves;
- finely chop with a knife or pass through a garlic press;
- mix the resulting slurry with petroleum jelly or baby cream in a ratio of 1: 2, respectively;
- treat the skin around the growth with vegetable oil or a fatty cream, apply a dotted garlic mass to the papilloma and fix it for 5-6 hours with a piece of bandage and adhesive plaster;
- after the time, remove the compress and rinse the skin with warm water.
The method helps to remove the neoplasm within 2 months. In case of severe burning or itching during the procedure, remove the mixture and rinse the skin.
Onion and onion peel
- chop a quarter of the peeled onion and add a teaspoon of table vinegar (9%) to the mass, mix all the ingredients;
- apply the mixture on the affected area for 15 minutes, fixing it with a bandage and pre-oiling the adjacent skin areas;
- remove the compress, rinse your neck with water. Carry out the procedure within 14 days.
Onion peel gives a good result in the treatment of papilloma:
- take a glass or ceramic container (the walls should be made of a material that is not susceptible to oxidation), fill it with washed and dried onion peel;
- pour table vinegar into the same dish to the top, cover tightly with parchment paper or cloth, leave for 2 weeks in a dark place;
- remove the husk, dry it and put it in 2-3 layers on the papilloma. Keep the compress for 8-10 hours, after removing it, be sure to lubricate the skin with a greasy cream.

Cut the peel into pieces and apply with the inside to the area where the papilloma has appeared for 10-30 days. This method is safe for the skin, so the bandage can be left overnight.
How to remove HPV with Kalanchoe?
Rub the juice from freshly cut young leaves of the plant into the growth sites 2 times a day, without rinsing. The treatment is carried out until the papilloma disappears, the first results are visible on the 3-4th day after the start of the procedures. You can also apply a bandage with cotton wool soaked in juice at night.
Tincture of violet, wormwood and plantain
- take wormwood grass, tricolor violet grass and plantain leaves in a ratio of 1: 1: 3, respectively;
- bring the water to a boil and immediately pour the collection. The amount of liquid needed in relation to the volume of dry herbs should be 7:1;
- cover the container with gauze or a loose cloth and infuse for 24 hours in a dark place;
- strain and take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day, before meals.
With egg white
- release the egg into a small container;
- moisten a cotton swab in the protein that remains on the walls of the shell and lubricate the growths 5-7 times a day.
Dandelion
With the help of a plant, you can get rid of neoplasms in two ways:
- external influence. Fill a glass jar with freshly picked yellow flowers and fill them to the top with triple cologne. Leave the container for 14 days, away from sunlight. Pour the liquid into a dark glass container and store in a cool place. Lubricate papillomas 5-7 times a day until they disappear completely;
- Pour a tablespoon of dry dandelion herb with 200 ml of boiling water and leave to infuse for 60 minutes. Strain the broth and add boiled water so that the initial volume is obtained. Take the infusion 3-4 times a day, divided into portions, 30 minutes before meals, for 10-14 days.
Tea tree oil and lemon oil
- Soak a cotton swab in tea tree essential oil and apply to the growth. Perform the procedure 2 times a day until the build-up disappears (7–10 days);
- use lemon oil undiluted. Before use, lubricate adjacent tissues with cream, soak a cotton swab in the preparation and apply to the papilloma for 10 minutes. Repeat skin treatment 4 times a day.
Laundry soap
It is convenient to perform the procedure before going to bed. The removal method consists in applying several layers of soap (70% or 72%) to the sites of localization of growths.
To avoid injury to the neoplasm, the skin must be moisturized. After 4 sessions, redness, slight itching should be observed. You can not tear off the papillomas on your own or remove the dried crust.

- Solcoderm is a solution based on nitric, acetic, oxalic and lactic acids. Phenol based
- Ferezol – the composition includes phenol and tricresol. Treat the growths continuously for an hour with the product. After the dried crust falls off, repeat the procedure after 6-8 days.
- Verrukacid is an oily preparation based on metacresol and phenol. Lubricate the spot growths with the agent 3-4 times in one procedure, maintaining the interval for the previous layer of the agent to dry. Re-application is possible a week after the crust falls off.
