Home treatments help get rid of papilloma no worse than professional ones. Before using them, however, it is recommended to consult a dermatologist for a comprehensive diagnosis and preliminary studies.

If the papilloma is benign, then folk methods will help remove the growth from the fingers or all hands. Consider below some of the most effective recipes:

• Castor oil . Helps to quickly and safely remove the build-up from the delicate skin of the hands and fingers. To achieve a high-quality result, moisten a cotton pad in castor oil and rub the affected area with massage movements for 5-10 minutes. Repeat the procedure 3-4 times daily.

• Aloe vera. A leaf of a fresh plant is cut in half and the “juicy” part is glued to the wart for 3–5 hours. The procedure is repeated daily.

• Tea tree oil . A drop of oil is applied pointwise to the formed growth and remains until it dries completely. For greater effectiveness, a little lemon juice is added to the oil. The procedure is carried out daily until the symptoms disappear completely.

Treatment with alternative methods is permissible only if the patient is not allergic to individual components of the recipe. If after 10-14 days of treatment there is no result or deterioration is observed, then the treatment will have to be stopped and consult a doctor.

Effective ointments for papilloma removal

Flat papillomas respond well to treatment with specialized ointments. Particularly effective are:

• Aldara. The ointment is good because it has no contraindications, however, it is not allowed for use in early childhood. The tool is used without a bandage and is reapplied every 6-10 hours.

• Stefalin. Natural herbal alcohol-based ointment. Painlessly helps to fight growths on the skin, gradually drying the neoplasm. After 10-12 days, the growth falls off by itself.

• Oxolinic ointment. It has antibacterial and antiviral effects, due to which it is very popular for getting rid of papilloma.

If side effects appear, as well as in the absence of proper action for a long period of time, the use of the product should be abandoned and seek help from a treating dermatologist.

Prevention of papilloma

Good prevention is the best defense against HPV and will help protect a person from the severe effects of the virus:
