To remove papilloma
- If the size of the formation is more than 3 mm, then zinc paste must first be applied to the surrounding skin in order to avoid getting liquid on it.
- Dip the applicator into the preparation, let the excess liquid drain, and then apply a small amount pointwise to the papilloma.
- On papillomas up to 2 mm in size, the liquid is applied once. Larger ones are lubricated 3-4 times, then making sure that the liquid dries up each time. Papilloma usually disappears 1-2 days after application of the remedy.
To remove a wart
- If the wart has a surface with severe keratinization, it must be softened before removal. To do this, a keratolytic ointment (for example, 10% salicylic, etc.) is applied to it, covered with polyethylene or adhesive tape on top and a gauze bandage is applied. After a few hours, the bandage is removed, the skin is steamed in hot water and the keratinized elements are removed (for example, using a pumice stone or a special grater). Then dry thoroughly.
- The intact skin surrounding the wart is lubricated with zinc paste.
- With the help of an applicator, a small amount of liquid is applied pointwise to the wart. After each application, the solution must be completely dry.
- Verrukacid can be applied to the wart up to 8 times, the number of applications depends on its size. After each application, it is necessary to wait for the complete drying of the drug. If necessary, after 6-8 days, the wart can be re-treated. The procedure can be repeated 3-4 times.
Possible side effects of the drug
Burns on contact with the surrounding skin. That is why it is recommended to protect undamaged surrounding tissues with zinc paste during repeated processing. If a burn does occur, anti-burn and wound healing agents are used to treat it.
